Headquartered in Florida, the Effe Group of Companies, LLC, oversees development projects spanning the globe, with an emphasis on underdeveloped regions. In addition to countries in Africa and the Caribbean, the Effe Group of Companies has worked stateside to deliver value and sustainability that measurably improves people’s lives.
One such initiative has been the Humanitarian Church - Pantry “Food First” Program. This has been envisioned as involving the design and implementation of centers that provide local employment to those in the community while feeding those in need.
One of the foundational values of the project is providing 100 percent fresh vegetables instead of canned goods, wherever feasible. This commitment to freshly sourced food would extend to meat items such as fish, beef, chicken, pork, and turkey. Each distribution point would be equipped with proper refrigeration and refrigeration capacities for these healthy food items.
The Food First project scope also includes farmland and hydroponic farming operations, as well as training capacities for those involved in food production.
