Headquartered in New Port Richey, Florida, the Effe Group of Companies, LLC, focuses on investments that transform waste to energy. Led by Earl Wescom, a devoted humanitarian, the investment firm is interested in helping people find better ways of living. One way the Effe Group of Companies, LLC, is accomplishing this is through the development of a series of fish and hydroponic farms in Côte d’Ivoire.
Effe plans to invest $350 million in the project, through which technology and equipment will be brought to West Africa’s Ivory Coast to set up the farms. The project is intended to bolster the local economy, and local people will be trained to do the installations and then operate and manage the farms as they come into productivity. This will create as many as 50,000 much-needed jobs and boost the income of local citizens.
In the interior of the country, an area where access to nutritional food supplies is limited, the fish and hydroponic farms will provide the populations not only with jobs, but also a reliable source of vegetables, fish, and other healthy foods. This will lead to a much-improved lifestyle for the impoverished populace.
