The Effe Group of Companies, LLC, has successfully negotiated with Ambassador Tivoli to begin construction on a series of fish and hydroponic farms that will be located on West Africa’s Ivory Coast. As ambassador for the development of that country, Mr. Tivoli met with humanitarian Earl Wescom, leader of the Effe Group of Companies, LLC, to review the project and investment, which is expected to total approximately $350 million.
Under this project, a series of fish and hydroponic farms will be established that will produce much-needed fish and fresh vegetables for a nutrition-starved population. Initial plans call for the construction of up to 800 units, which will be located across the country in nearly all cities and towns.
The farms will also create much-needed jobs. In addition to the food production, facilities will be built to accommodate processing and food packaging, and distribution centers will be opened as well. This has the potential to result in as many as 50,000 new jobs, with employment opportunities leading to a dramatic increase in income for many families. Employees will be paid and also become shareholders in the investment.
